Sec. 141. (a) "Participant", for purposes of IC 34-31-5 , means a person, whether an amateur or a professional, who engages in an equine activity, whether or not a fee is paid to participate in the equine activity. (b) "Participant", for purposes of IC 34-31-9 , has the meaning set forth in 34-31-9-7.
