Sec. 135. (a) "Offender", for purposes of IC 34-13-3-7 , means a person who is committed to the department of correction or was committed to the department of correction. (b) "Offender", for purposes of IC 34-58 , means a person who is committed to the department of correction or incarcerated in a jail.
