Indiana Code § 34-57-2-18

Application; proper court

Sec. 18. An application, as provided for in section 3(a) of this chapter, shall be made to the court in the county where the adverse party resides or has a place of business or, if the adverse party has no residence or place of business in this state, to the court of any county. All subsequent applications shall be made to the court hearing the initial application unless the court otherwise directs. [Pre-1998 Recodification Citation: 34-4-2-18.]
