Attorney's fees in a class action

Sec. 7. (a) This section applies to a class action against the state.       (b) This section applies to an action filed after June 30, 2017.       (c) Subject to the requirements of this chapter, a court shall not award attorney's fees without conducting a hearing.       (d) A hearing to determine the award of attorney's fees under this section may include: (1) presentation of evidence; (2) testimony of expert witnesses; and (3) any other evidence the court requires to make its determination.   IC 34-52-3 Chapter 3.
