Sec. 5. (a) The: (1) register of the sales of the Michigan road lands located in the Indiana state archives, Indiana archives and records administration; and (2) certified copies of any entry in the register under the seal of Indiana; are admissible in evidence in all courts and places. (b) The register, or a certified copy of the entry of the sale of a tract of land described in the register, by any person named in the register as the purchaser of the land, is prima facie evidence that: (1) the person designated in the register was the purchaser of the land; and (2) the title to the land has been conveyed by the state to the purchaser in fee simple.
