Sec. 3. As used in this chapter, "watercraft" means any instrumentality or device in or by means of which a person may be transported upon a body of water, including: (1) a motorboat, sailboat, rowboat, personal watercraft (as defined in IC 14-8-2-202.5 ), kayak, canoe, pontoon boat, stand up paddle board, or jon boat of any length or size; and (2) a floating object, whether or not connected to a watercraft described in subdivision (1).
