Enforcement of judgments against governmental entities

Sec. 17. A court that has rendered a judgment against a governmental entity may order that governmental entity to: (1) appropriate funds for the payment of the judgment if funds are available for that purpose; or (2) levy and collect a tax to pay the judgment if there are insufficient funds available for that purpose.
