Sec. 14. (a) As used in this section, "survey" means the practice of surveying as defined in IC 25-21.5-1-7 or the work product of the practice of surveying.       (b) An action to recover damages against a person who prepared a survey based on an alleged deficiency in the survey must be commenced not later than ten (10) years from the date the survey, plat, or other work product that resulted from the survey was delivered to the client.
