Sec. 1. This chapter applies only to: (1) an individual who serves as a prosecuting attorney or chief deputy prosecuting attorney on or after January 1, 1990; and (2) a participant employed in a position described in section 8(a)(2) or 8(a)(3) of this chapter who serves in the position after June 30, 1995.
