Sec. 3. The amendments made to IC 33-38-7-11 by P.L.28-2005 apply: (1) to participants in the judges' 1977 retirement, disability, and death benefit system regardless of whether the participants: (A) retired before July 1, 2005; or (B) retire after June 30, 2005; and (2) only to benefits first payable after June 30, 2005.
