Judicial candidates; terms

Sec. 9. (a) All candidates for each respective Allen superior court judgeship shall be listed on the general election ballot in the form prescribed by IC 3-11 , without party designation. The candidate receiving the highest number of votes for each judgeship shall be elected to that office.       (b) IC 3 , except where inconsistent with this chapter, applies to elections held under this chapter.       (c) The term of each Allen superior court judge: (1) begins January 1 following election and ends December 31 following the election of a successor; and (2) is six (6) years.
