Failure to appear; misrepresentation

Sec. 17. (a) If a prospective juror fails to appear under the supervising judge's order or fails to show good cause for the failure to appear as directed by the jury administrator, the prospective juror is subject to criminal contempt.       (b) A person who knowingly misrepresents a material fact on a juror qualification form for the purpose of avoiding or securing service as a juror commits a Class C misdemeanor.
