Sec. 2. In any circuit for which IC 33-33 provides more than one (1) judge of the circuit court, the county election board shall assign a number to each seat on the court. After that, any candidate for judge of the circuit court must file a declaration of candidacy under IC 3-8-2 or petition of nomination under IC 3-8-6 for one (1) specified seat of the court.
