Sec. 3. Except as provided in IC 34-56-1 , an appeal may not be taken to the supreme court in any civil case where the amount in controversy, exclusive of interest and costs, does not exceed fifty dollars ($50). [Pre-2004 Recodification Citation: 33-3-2-4.]
