Indiana Code § 32-33-14-1

Property and services subject to lien

Sec. 1. (a) All persons, firms, limited liability companies, and corporations engaged in the business of storing, warehousing, and forwarding goods, wares, and merchandise have a lien upon all goods, wares, and merchandise left with them for storage, warehousing, or forwarding, to the extent of the: (1) value of the services of storage, warehousing, or forwarding; (2) fair and reasonable charges for transporting the goods, wares, and merchandise to the place of storage, warehousing, or forwarding; and (3) fair and reasonable charges for packing, crating, and otherwise placing the goods, wares, and merchandise in condition to be stored, warehoused, or forwarded.       (b) However, the goods subject to a lien under this section must remain in the possession of the person, firm, limited liability company, or corporation engaged in the business.
