Indiana Code § 32-23-10-1

"Mineral interest" defined

Sec. 1. As used in this chapter, "mineral interest" means the interest that is created by an instrument that transfers, by: (1) grant; (2) assignment; (3) reservation; or (4) otherwise; an interest of any kind in coal, oil and gas, and other minerals. [Pre-2002 Recodification Citation: 32-5-11-2.]
