Instrument recorded without acknowledgment not admissible as evidence

Sec. 11. If an instrument is recorded without an acknowledgment's or proof's certificate as required under this article and IC 33-42-9-12 , the instrument or a transcript of the instrument may not be read or received in evidence. [Pre-2002 Recodification Citation: 32-1-2-28.]
