Indiana Code § 31-9-2-16.6

"Child care worker"

Sec. 16.6. "Child care worker", for purposes of IC 31-33 , means an individual who: (1) is: (A) employed, other than self-employed as an owner; or (B) actively seeking employment; with an agency, facility, or home described in section 31(b)(2) of this chapter; (2) is a child caregiver; or (3) has, or will have, direct contact with a child to whom the individual is not a relative (as defined in section 107(c)(1) through 107(c)(11) of this chapter) on a regular and continuing basis through current employment with any agency, facility, or home that provides: (A) child care; or (B) services to, or for the benefit of, a child who is a victim of child abuse or neglect (as described in section 14(c) of this chapter).
