Coroner's investigation and report

Sec. 6. Upon receiving a written report under section 5(3) of this chapter, the coroner shall: (1) accept a report for investigation; and (2) report the coroner's findings to: (A) the appropriate law enforcement agency; (B) the prosecuting attorney; (C) the department; and (D) the hospital if the institution making the report is a hospital.
