Assignment of case or supervision of child to county of child's residence

Sec. 3. (a) Upon: (1) the juvenile court's own motion; (2) the motion of a child; or (3) the motion of the child's parent, guardian, or custodian; the juvenile court may assign a case to a juvenile court in the county of a child's residence at any time before the dispositional hearing.       (b) Supervision of a child may be assigned to a juvenile court in the county of the child's residence.       (c) The assigning court shall send to the receiving court certified copies of all documents pertaining to the case.
