Kinship care navigator program report

Sec. 25. The department shall submit a report, not later than December 31 of each year, to the general assembly concerning the kinship care navigator program. The report must include the following information: (1) How the program has provided outreach to kinship care families, including by establishing, publishing, and updating a kinship care Internet web site and other relevant guides or outreach materials. (2) How the program has coordinated with other state or local agencies that promote service coordination and provide information and referral services. (3) How the program has established partnerships between public and private agencies, including schools, community based or faith based organizations, and relevant government agencies, to increase the agencies' knowledge of the needs of kinship care families, current foster families, or potential foster families and promote better services for families. (4) Any other information regarding how the program is supporting any other activities designed to assist kinship caregivers in obtaining benefits and services to improve their caregiving. A report submitted under this section must be in an electronic format under IC 5-14-6 .
