Sec. 1. Before July 1, 2018, this chapter applies to all adoptions that are filed after December 31, 1993. Beginning July 1, 2018, this chapter applies to all adoptions, regardless of the date the adoption was filed. [Pre-1997 Recodification Citation: 31-3-4.5-1.]
