Sec. 1. Sections 1 through 7 of this chapter apply if a man who files or is a party to a paternity action under this article (or IC 31-6-6.1 before its repeal) is served with notice, or informed in any other manner, of a pending or potential adoption of a child who is the subject of the paternity action.
