Indiana Code § 3-8-1-21

County commissioner

Sec. 21. A candidate for the office of county commissioner must: (1) have resided in the county for at least one (1) year before the election, as provided in Article 6, Section 4 of the Constitution of the State of Indiana; and (2) have resided in the district in which the candidate is seeking election for at least six (6) months before the election.
