Indiana Code § 3-7-40-6

Duties upon notice of converted rural route addresses, discontinuance of delivery to post office boxes, renaming or renumbering of addresses

Sec. 6. When notified by: (1) the NVRA official of a conversion from rural route addresses to numbered addresses under this chapter; (2) the United States Postal Service of a conversion from rural route addresses to numbered addresses; (3) the United States Postal Service that mail delivery to postal boxes located in a United States Postal Service facility will be discontinued and replaced by residential delivery; or (4) a local public official (or plan commission) under section 3 of this chapter of: (A) the naming or renaming of streets; (B) the numbering or renumbering of lots or structures; or (C) the conversion of rural route addresses to numbered addresses; the county voter registration office shall, as soon as practicable, amend the entry for the voter in the computerized list under IC 3-7-26.3 .
