Voter registration listing nonresidential address

Sec. 7.4. (a) This section applies when the feature within the statewide voter registration system described in IC 3-7-33-5.7 (a)(2) identifies a voter registration that lists a potential nonresidential address.       (b) The county voter registration official shall conduct research on the registration described in subsection (a) to determine if: (1) an individual could reside at the address stated on the registration; or (2) the individual resides at a nontraditional residence described in IC 3-5-5-18 .       (c) If the county voter registration official determines, following research under subsection (b), that: (1) an individual could not reside at the address; or (2) the individual does not reside at a nontraditional residence described in IC 3-5-5-18 ; the county voter registration official may perform the voter list maintenance procedures under this chapter.
