Administering of oath when no authorized person present

Sec. 20. If no person present is authorized by law to administer an oath of office under section 19 of this chapter, the inspector shall administer the oath to the judges, and one of the judges shall then administer the oath to the inspector. After the organization of the precinct election board, the inspector may administer all oaths required in the discharge of duties. [Pre-1986 Recodification Citation: 3-1-5-10.]
