Sec. 16. If a county election board requires that the names of candidates for nomination at a primary election be rotated alphabetically on the marking devices, then the names shall be rotated by precincts in regular serial sequence, so that each name of a list or group of candidates for an office appears upon the marking devices an equal number of times, as nearly as practicable, at the top, at the bottom, and in each intermediate place under the title of the office sought. Each type card within a precinct must be of the same rotation series. [Pre-1986 Recodification Citation: 3-2-4-4.5 part.]
