Sec. 20. If a county executive is advised that a proposed precinct establishment order does not comply with this chapter, the county executive may: (1) amend the proposed order so that the precincts may be established in compliance with this chapter; or (2) request an exemption under section 20.5 of this chapter; and resubmit the proposed order to the co-directors.
