Sec. 10.1. (a) The commissioner shall adopt rules under IC 4-22-2 to establish standards for model Medicare supplement policies. The standards must include standards for benefits. (b) An insurer may issue a Medicare supplement policy or certificate in Indiana only if the policy or certificate is one (1) of the model policies adopted by the department under subsection (a).
