Sec. 32. (a) For purposes of acting as an insurance producer for a risk retention group or purchasing group under section 30 or 31 of this chapter, the requirement of residence in Indiana does not apply. (b) Every individual, firm, association, or corporation licensed under IC 27-1-15.6 , in regard to business placed with risk retention groups or written through a purchasing group, shall inform each prospective insured of the provisions of the notice required by section 18 of this chapter in the case of a risk retention group and section 27(c) of this chapter in the case of a purchasing group.
