Indiana Code § 27-2-27-10

"Licensee"

Sec. 10. (a) As used in this chapter, "licensee" means a person that is: (1) licensed, authorized to operate, or registered; or (2) required to be licensed, authorized to operate, or registered; under this title and the rules adopted under this title.       (b) The term does not include any of the following: (1) A purchasing group or risk retention group that is chartered and licensed in another state. (2) A person that is: (A) acting as an assuming insurer; and (B) domiciled in a state or jurisdiction other than Indiana.
