Regulation of insurance in connection with health benefit exchange

Sec. 2. (a) The commissioner and the department may implement and enforce the insurance law of this state in connection with a health benefit exchange.       (b) A law of this state concerning a health benefit exchange does not preempt or supersede the authority of the commissioner or department to regulate the business of insurance in Indiana.       (c) This section does not require the department to perform any function related to a health benefit exchange without being appropriately compensated for the performance of the function.
