Indiana Code § 27-13-1-4

"Basic health care services"

Sec. 4. (a) "Basic health care services" means the following medically necessary services: (1) Preventive care. (2) Inpatient and outpatient hospital and physician care. (3) Diagnostic laboratory care. (4) Diagnostic and therapeutic radiological services. (5) Emergency care.       (b) The term does not include the following: (1) Mental health services. (2) Services for alcohol and drug abuse. (3) Dental services. (4) Vision services. (5) Long term rehabilitation treatment.
