Sec. 7. As used in this chapter, "supervising entity" means a business entity that: (1) supervises the activities of a self-storage facility related to a self-storage insurance policy; (2) is an: (A) insurer; or (B) insurance producer; that is licensed under this title; and (3) issues, or is appointed by an insurer that issues, the self-storage insurance policy.
