Sec. 18. The commissioner may issue a limited lines producer's license to the following without examination: (1) A limited lines travel insurance producer. (2) A limited line credit insurance producer. (3) A person who will only negotiate or solicit insurance under Class 2(j) of IC 27-1-5-1 . (4) Any person who will negotiate or solicit a kind of insurance that the commissioner finds does not require an examination to demonstrate professional competency. (5) A person that will sell, solicit, or negotiate only portable electronics insurance as provided in IC 27-1-15.9 . (6) A person that will sell, solicit, or negotiate only self-storage insurance as provided in IC 27-1-16.1 .
