Notice of fines

Sec. 31.8. (a) If a fine is assessed under this chapter, the director shall issue a notice to the person or licensee containing the following: (1) The reasons the director assessed the fine, including citations to the applicable provisions of this chapter under which the fine has been assessed. (2) The amount of the assessed fine. (3) The requirement that the assessed fine must be fully paid within thirty (30) days of the notice being sent. (4) The manners of payment acceptable to the agency and any other necessary payment instructions. (5) A full copy of this section.       (b) If a person or licensee fails to pay the assessed fine under this section, the director may apply any penalty authorized in this chapter, including revocation of a license.
