Sec. 3. The application described in section 2 of this chapter must state that the applicant: (1) is either: (A) at least eighteen (18) years of age; or (B) at least seventeen (17) years of age and is a graduate of an accredited high school; (2) has: (A) graduated with not less than one thousand five hundred (1,500) hours of training in a barber program in a beauty culture school; or (B) completed a United States Department of Labor registered apprenticeship program to practice barbering; (3) has received a satisfactory grade of at least seventy-five percent (75%) on an examination for barber license applicants prescribed by the board; (4) has not committed an act that could subject the applicant to discipline under IC 25-1-11 ; and (5) has paid the fee set forth in IC 25-8-13 for the issuance of a license under this chapter.
