Sec. 1. (a) An individual may not be a water well driller or water well pump installer without a license. (b) The department shall issue a license to each individual who applies and qualifies for a license under this chapter. (c) The license of the licensee operating well drilling equipment or installing a water well pump shall be carried by the licensee and presented for inspection by a representative of the department upon request. (d) Every license expires on December 31 of the year for which it was issued.
