Sec. 14.5. If the board determines that an emergency presents a risk to the delivery of competent, honest, and principled veterinary services in Indiana as described in IC 15-17.5-2-4 , the board may adopt rules under IC 4-22-2 that: (1) suspend or modify licensing, examination, continuing education, or permit requirements under this article; or (2) implement measures that safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens and animals of Indiana.
