Notice of violation of chapter or rules

Sec. 3.1. The department may under IC 4-21.5-3-6 issue a notice of violation against a person who has violated this chapter or the rules adopted under this chapter. The notice of violation shall be issued to the registrant and the registrant's sureties stating in general terms: (1) the nature of the violation; and (2) that a proceeding seeking forfeiture of the bond may be commenced twenty (20) days after service of the notice on the registrant if at the end of that period the violation still remains and neither the registrant nor the surety has asked for judicial review of the notice.
