Sec. 16. (a) The director may revoke, suspend, deny, or refuse to issue any license or agent's registration under that license if the applicant or holder of that license has: (1) been convicted of a felony; (2) violated any provision of this chapter; or (3) violated any rule or regulation of the department promulgated under this chapter. Revocation or suspension of a license or an agent's registration shall be determined by the director after an administrative hearing as provided in subsection (d). (b) The director may suspend a license for not more than ninety (90) days before a final adjudication if the director finds that the holder of a timber buyer's license poses a clear and immediate danger to public health, safety, or property if allowed to continue to operate. (c) The director may renew a suspension under subsection (b) for a period of not more than ninety (90) days. There is no limit to the number of times the director may renew a suspension. (d) A proceeding under this chapter to revoke, suspend, deny, or refuse to issue a license shall be conducted in the manner prescribed by IC 4-21.5-3 . Formerly: Acts 1975, P.L.274, SEC.3.
