Sec. 6. (a) The licensing agency shall provide the board with a competent individual to serve as secretary of the board. The secretary may not be a member of the board. The secretary, through the licensing agency, shall keep a true and complete record of all proceedings of the board and perform any other duties, prescribed in this chapter, as may be assigned by the board. (b) The board shall be provided by the licensing agency whatever clerical or other assistants, including investigators, as may be necessary for the proper performance of its duties. (c) The licensing agency may assign joint personnel to work for both the board and the state board of registration for professional surveyors. Formerly: Acts 1935, c.148, s.6; Acts 1957, c.320, s.3.
