Sec. 1. An individual may not: (1) profess to be a physician assistant; (2) use the title "physician assistant", including the use of the title by a physician who is not licensed under IC 25-22.5 ; or (3) use the initials "P.A." or any other words, letters, abbreviations, or insignia indicating or implying that the individual is a physician assistant licensed under this article; unless the individual is licensed under this article. However, use of the initials "PA" by a public accountant who is authorized to use the initials "PA" by IC 25-2.1-12-6 is not a violation of this section.
