Refusal of licensure; probationary license

Sec. 2. The committee may refuse to issue a license or may issue a probationary license to an individual if: (1) the individual has been disciplined by an administrative agency in another jurisdiction or been convicted for a crime that has a direct bearing on the individual's ability to practice competently; and (2) the committee determines that the act for which the individual was disciplined or convicted has a direct bearing on the individual's ability to practice as a physician assistant.
