Sec. 8. As used in this chapter, "interoperability" refers to the INSPECT program electronically sharing reported information with another state concerning the dispensing of a controlled substance: (1) to a recipient who resides in the other state; or (2) prescribed by a practitioner whose principal place of business is located in another state.
