Sec. 19.5. A practitioner who is a veterinarian and who is treating an animal may obtain information about: (1) the owner of the animal; or (2) the individual to whom an opioid or benzodiazepine will be dispensed for the animal; from the data base before prescribing an opioid or benzodiazepine for the animal.
