Duration of marriage and family therapist license; renewal

Sec. 8. (a) Subject to IC 25-1-2-6 (e), a marriage and family therapist license issued by the board is valid for the remainder of the renewal period in effect on the date the license was issued.       (b) An individual may renew a marriage and family therapist license by: (1) paying a renewal fee on or before the expiration date of the license; and (2) completing not less than fifteen (15) hours of continuing education each licensure year.       (c) If an individual fails to pay a renewal on or before the expiration date of a license, the license becomes invalid.
