Sec. 12. (a) This section is subject to section 12.3 of this chapter. (b) Subject to IC 25-1-2-6 (e), a license issued by the board under this chapter is valid for the remainder of the renewal period in effect on the date the license was issued. (c) An individual may renew a license by paying a renewal fee on or before the expiration date of the license. (d) If an individual fails to pay a renewal fee on or before the expiration date of a license, the license becomes invalid.
