Licensing exemption

Sec. 2. The provisions of this article that require a license to engage in the practice of occupational therapy do not apply to the following: (1) The practice of occupational therapy by an individual who is practicing occupational therapy as part of a supervised course of study in an educational program approved by the board. (2) The practice of occupational therapy by an occupational therapy assistant who is: (A) licensed under this article; and (B) acting under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
